After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, our experienced guide will provide a briefing about the day hike. The journey begins as you immerse yourself in the local culture, encountering friendly locals who call the mountainside home. Along the way, you'll be surrounded by lush greenery and a diverse range of wildlife.
Traverse the forested trails of Mount Meru, which offers over 10 different day trekking routes ranging from 3 to 8 hours in duration. As you ascend, your guide will share fascinating stories about the Meru people, adding depth to your experience.
The majority of the hike resembles a steep uphill walk, passing through villages and farmlands, allowing you to witness the authentic daily life of the local communities. Marvel at the vibrant flora and fauna of the forest, including a variety of bird species, colorful butterflies, playful monkeys, and graceful antelopes. Your guide will also point out medicinal plants that have been traditionally used by the locals.
